Beyonce appeared in a press conference in New Orleans at the Super Bowl today, and started the affair with a rendition of The National Anthem that was so 'in-your-face' to critics who claimed she was lip-syncing that it was as funny as it was just plain awesome.
But even though it seemed Beyonce set the record straight, many in the media audience obviously didn't listen.
Take Fox News and this headline: "Beyonce sings national anthem at press conference, admits she lip-synced at inauguration," written by Fox News and The Associated Press. It's wrong.
What Beyonce said was that she "sang along with a pre-recorded track." When a CBS media type asked for a clarification, she said that she did sing.
But, as I said in my video, she was not lip-syncing - I was there.
